Default Slippery leak?

ive got a 96 ssei and a yellow oily fluid is leaking and making the belt slip. Any Quick Fix Suggestion are welcomed :D

me and my bro-n-law cant find where its coming from and its the power steering belt and whatever else it goes too

I would more suspect you have a front seal on your power steering pump. That fluid is about what you are describing. Check your fluid levels on everything.

On that power steering pump, it is a pain to get to and might be best left to the mechanic just on the aggrevation principle.

Please put year and trim in you sig. I can't remember off hand whether the */C and the PS pulleys are on the same belt, but it could be your */C nose cone seal.

With his car being a 96, it'* doubtful the SC oil was changed as often as it should have been. Color would be darker and the first thing he would have mentioned was the smell.

I just changed my SC oil....trust me...people notice the smell!!!!
