Heh, yeah, Wren, and when my wife is whining maybe she'* really just offering constructive criticism and opportunities for self improvement! :P

Deathrat: It was the HTR Pipe Outlet to the Intake that was cracked. Funny...when I took it to the dealer, me and this other guy had thought it was a leaky seal on the upper intake manifold and that I needed a new one. Heard these were a problem on Bonnevilles. But the dealer knew right away what it was (this HTR pipe). He said they've been seeing a lot of these getting cracked. Did a pressure test on it and sure enough that'* what it was. I never saw it myself, but I know he had to remove the alternator and tensioner to get to it.

I've already re-sealed my lower intake. Yes you have to remove the alternator to get at it. Unfortunately, all 3800'* have intake problems with leaking coolant!

The platinum 4 suck the are to advanced cause you can't gap them there is very little resistancefor the points to be so close, in other words POWER LOSS, go with iridium. 3 Years in aviation high school teaches iridium is the best plug in the market but they are RADIOACTIVE so don't play with them for a long time. That is the standard plug on planes with recipricating engines. And for rumbling check your wires and plugs 90% wires ir coils start there .
