Not sure if this applies to your year or mirror style but the bottom of mine has two phillips screws to remove the internals. May help in figureing it out?

jeffery10x2.. I think it'* the plastic piece.. I have a female nipple on the back of the mirror.. and wat seems like the motor on the side mirror housing itself.. time for some good ol duct tape and epoxy glue.. hee hee.. Am I screwed???

PontiacDad.. I will see if I can locate those to make my life easier to do it.. get all paranoid holding the housing in one hand and the mirror in the other tryin to pop it back in and not have something shatter or break.

Well.. if I have to replace it.. I might as well try some good ol 5min epoxy, can't get much worse if I have to replace it no matter what. $200 is a lil high.....( especially since it'* in US fund you're probably refering to too )

K.. Bruce was nice enough to send me this pic.. so there is basically nothing that goes between #5 and the mirror right? ( minus the plastic hole thats on the back of the mirror ) and in this case.. some good ol glue should cure this? Thanx

Whoa Murdock...put the glue down and back away from the mirror!!!!

It'* a pivot point. No glue..at all. just take that one I sent you and practice with it out of the housing. I put it together and back apart once in case I needed to do mine. Line up the three dickfers ...and they are a pain...then give it a push...

CLICK. See we knew you could do it! that'* all there is to it buddy...it'* a walk in the park when you can see it. Good luck on alighment when you can't see it.

Right. It just clips right in. I had a spare from a 93 and figured it could take one for the team if I broke. It didn't pop out too easy so I don't know how yours came out. #5 is where the white lube is and the receptical is below the one my finger is pointing at.
