Default Shock assistance??

57000 miles on a 94 SSE and I need shocks. Any help out there with what I could do instead of factory set up. I'm not a racer but I do like the car to handle well when I need it.

www.domesticperformance.com has some alternatives for you. It all depends on how much you want to spend. There are possibly some simple aftermarket shocks available as well, but it depends if you have the auto-leveling rear end to as how easy they will be to replace.

What did you do to kill the struts with only 57000 miles! LOL j/k with ya

Yeah, if I was going to spend the money to replace the struts, I would go with domestic performance.

Default Struts-Shocks

Well...before I caught the (build my car bug...again) I replaced my 1993 SSEi front struts (130K miles) at THE DEALER....you would think that that would be $$$...
but much to my surprise....$300.00....that'* right...brand new struts..$300.00
And the ride is ......well a BONNEVILLE....if you have one...you should know what I am TALKING about...My SSEi rides TIGHT up front...but just a little loose in the *** at a BUCK TEN....(110mph)...so it'* time to modify the rear....

As far as the BUILD THE CAR BUG...it'* been a while...but my last toy was a 1979 Trans Am 455cid.....I've been a Pontiac fanatic for decades....I have had 4 T/A'* in my past....and now my Bonne' ..And the NEED FOR SPEED is back...back in the day
they called me the MOTOR CITY MADMAN....fastest thing in Wayne county in my home town Detroit 1981....Low 10'* in the 1/4 mile....FAST....

So the challenge is in...My quest, SPEED....My 1993 SSEi (135k) is the experiment of the decade for me folks....I almost 40yr'* now....so I am going to $$$BLOW$$$ some money on my Bonne'.....LOOKOUT.....Stay Tuned....

P.*. They call me the "Con10der" nowadays...........

SEE YA.....................SSEiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiii

Sounds like Scott Cook is going to have some serious competition!
