The visor pivot sections on my '92 SSEI were broken. Somebody was too rough with them. Well it looked like an easy fix, and I was able to get the new parts from GM.

WRONG!! The wiring goes through this pivot area, and plugs into a harness above the headliner in an area just about where the rear view mirror is. You have to get this unplugged to fix the visor. The wire is taped and stapled to the headliner, you have to get this undone without wrecking it. You can pull down the headliner a bit to work on it, but not much. You are mostly working blind. I think you also have to remove the connector pins from the connector.... I forget now.

It took me half the day to do this, what a pain. Treat those visors with care !!!!
