Default security system question

am tryin to program a remote fob to my 92 ssei,in the instructions i am told to jump the g(bottom left) spot to the a (top right) spot and my locks should lock and unlock.but this is not happening.any answers.the locks work just fine when pressed at the door switch. this all results from me finding out my car has an alarm.was sold the car with no door key so ive never locked it,until last weekend.when i opened the rear door that i manualyy unlocked after pressing the auto locks, the alarm sounded.at 1 am.no way to shut it off so i unplugged both horns.now i want to program a key fob and am stuck.

Double check the OBD plug. Some times it is upside down.

Disconnect the battery for a few mins and reconnect, reconnect both horns also. I'm wondering if the alarm is still "triggered" and won't allow any programming while its still "armed". Let us know what happens.
