yea i plan on adding the 12 way power seats form the SSE/SSEi to my car. Dameorder put the 12 ways in his car. i believe that you can tap into the existing power from your power drivers seat. Im not sure though

Dame where are you...

Yup, The AL7'* bolt right in and can be powered off the existing source. Very simple to swap, Solder two wires, Cut one hole, Four bolts.

if u installed a 12 way seat how would u control it? cuz the 6 way controls are right on the seat and that all i want is passenger 6 way. u said the seat will bolt right in?

yea when I plan on doing mine I will have the 12 way controller in the stock location on the console just like an SSEi would. If you wnat to do the 6 way then just tap into the existing driver side wires and your done

Someone said somewhere that the bolt patterns or something are different for each side, so you can't install a drivers seat on the passenger side. However there are some cars that have the 6 way passenger seat. Bill said its not too hard to remove the upholstry, so i guess you could find a junkyard power seat then put your nice leather on it.

I actually think it feels nicer than the driver seat. It feels more comfortable and I like the way the engine sounds on that side. Sounds best when you are in the back seat by the muffler.
