What does it sound like is the prob?
Does it work for the other side ( passenger side ) and not the driver or is it both ? Cause if it'* both.. I think it might just simply be the seat control box in the center.. in which.. all you have to do is take that out and check for continuaty with a multi meter when you have it off to ensure that the switches ain't broken first... you don't want to go spending money on things that isn't the cause of the problem. Try that first... and we'll go from there... of if anyone wants to go into more depth into this. I'm just lazy to type way too much if I don't have to.

The switches send a signal to the box under the driver'* seat. The box sends the signal to the appropriate valve/motor/pump.

If my seat box is bad why is it only bad for the lumbar part and about what do they go for if I have to replace?

If the lumbar bladder controls don't do anything on either seat, make sure that the connector under the PASSENGER seat is connected ok.

On the '92 and '93 (and maybe other years) the motor that fills the air bladders is under the front passenger seat.

Just to clarify:

The lumbar and side-bolsters are operated with an air pump and bladders, while the movement of the seat uses motors. I would check the connections at the air pump, and try to test the air pump.

ok. I just pushed the lumbar buttons while placing my hand on that unit under the passenger seat. I hear it click evey time I hit a lumbar button for the passenger side. So this means the buttons up top are good, right? Next step please.

Are all 3 lumbars out on both seats, or is it just one chamber on each seat, or is it one chamber on one seat?
