Someone I know just had his seats re-upholstered by a regular shop, not an automobile one. They did a good job.

John, do you have the multitude of seat controls on the center console? If you do, you're going to have a hard time finding seats to swap. An SSEi with cloth is rare. You may want to consider swapping to grey leather for the fronts.

Unfortunately they all wear in the same place; my leather seat has an actual _hole_ there. :(

However, it looks to me like the passenger'* side seat is identical to the driver'*; has anyone bought a passenger seat from the junqueyard and successfully installed it on the driver'* side?

Yeah, it has the 9 way power seat controls in the middle consol. I really like the cloth seats, because not very many people have them and they have prob. lasted a lot longer than the leather would have, but if i have to i guess i could swap them out with leather ones :? :( Is a new seat from a junk yard easy to install?

Seat covers anyone?

Other then that I dunno. Find an SE seat and steal the cloth part off of it. They're interchangeable between cars and sides.
