Yesterday I noticed that the lumbar functions (and side bolsters) are deflating properly, however when you try to inflate them, nothing. So today I poked around under the seat, and I noticed that if I hold the inflate button, and lightly tap the compressor once, it kicks on. Looks like it needs to be lubricated or replaced. I will have to price a new one. Has anyone taken it apart before?

I haven't taken the compressor apart, but replaced it. I got an entire seat on e-bay for $9.99 and shipping and used the seat back to replace the torn up driver'* seat back the adjustment screws, etc. Anyway, the compressor should be fairly easily replaced via junk yard. Just find a torn up seat (due to cost considerations) and unbolt the compressor. You can check the compressor with test leads from the battery to make sure it works prior to buying the seat. If you need / want any details, etc. drop me a note.

Yes, unless a new one is really pricy, I will probably go to the junkyard. I am concerned that if I take it apart I may not be able to get it back together.
