Look underneath the seat and check all the connectors coming out fo the floor to the seat. I've had one come undone before.

Also check the air hose connection. W/o air you can't fill your lumbar bags.

I would suspect something isn't getting power or the control wire though.

i think that it may be a bad motor since the motor actually works for a little and then shuts off

Hmmm could be. But i'd only expect one/maybe two fuctions to be lost.

yah my drivers side is doing pretty much the same thing but it moves forward and back ok but thats bretty much it. it really struggles to lean back and some of the other features are really sluggish andwierd. the passenger works fine though, if anyone drives my car im just like dont tuch the seat, move forward or backwards but nothing else. it would be helpful to diagnose this. ugh i just dont know where to get motors since i dont really have time to go to the boneyard to pick motors and stuff like that up.

The compressor for lumbar, yes. It is located under the passenger seat and connects via hose to the driver seat.

my recline has failed on both front seats. motor tries for a half of a second, then stops.
