Default seat belt question....

every car i've owned before the Bonne I've been able to "lock" the belt loose by tugging on it so its not trying to strangle me...but i cant get the Bonne'* to lock up and stop trying to cut my neck off..is this normal or is something not working right?

any way to fix this?

I don't belive my belts lock when I tug on them but there have been many times I've made a quick half turn before I back into the driveway and the belt locks, among other times as well. I don't think you have much to worry about.

Nope, ours don't lock in the manner your other cars did. I wondered about that too, but they don't lock for comfort. They do lock when you slam on your brakes, but you're talking about comfort when you're just driving, and nope, ours don't do that. Bummer. You might buy one of those little clip things at an autoparts store that clips onto your seatbelt where it goes into the retractor to give you that extra inch of comfort.
