Well, I'm just trying to get to the bottom of this, because I'm trying to do this before I take it for it's duely needed oil change, cause I know you're supposed to change the oil and sparks afterwards...

okay took bandit's advice and finally got a LITTLE something... wasn't much. I just hope that's a sign that the engine was in pretty good shape to begin with :)
Now for the oil change, fuel filter, and sparks hehe.

About 1/3-1/2 the can, let it sit for about 15-20 minutes, then ran it around the neighborhood til the white smoke was gone. Wasn't too dense, but it was there.

I was wondering about seafoam to, will it work just fine if I put it in the gas tank?

Yes. it'll work as a fuel injector cleaner like that.

I have to say that it has definitely improved the performance of my Bonne. Not a giant amount, but definitely noticeable. Seems my engine was pretty clean. However, when I used it in the fuel tank, there was a sizeable difference in efficiency.

I dont know about how you did the procedure since you didnt state the specifics, but basically you let it suck it in at idle, and as you are doing it you should get mayby a little bit of smoke. Once you are done injecting the seafoam, you are not done yet. Just before you shut it off, you rev it up by just a little and allow the engine to stall. Then you leave it to allow it to soak for at least 20 minutes.
After you let it soak, it will be hard to start because the cylinders will have the seafoam in it. Thats ok, keep turning the key and once it catches hit the rev a little bit higher than idle so it wont stall out again and keep it there for a minute. When you add that rev, you should start to see heavy smoke billow out from the tailpipes, so much so that you may need to hold it there for 2 minutes before the smoke dies down, then take it out for a spirited run.
This procedure is especially recommended for the Northstar powered cars since they are a magnet for carbon. It will also help reduce oil consumption.

I tried Seafoam on my old Bonne and now I swear by it.
On a side note the Seafoam Trans Tune is awesome stuff too, I used it before doing a transmission flush and it really cleaned things out.
