Runs then slows then stalls
Recently, last few days noticed a miss and on thurs. driving home started getting less power, then stalled near redlight, started up again had enough to slowly drive home,
that night changed plugs, had Bosch in , changed to NGK -AdvancedAuto,
ran it a few minutes, doing better,a little slugish to respond,Next day changed oil/filter,
went to get gas,few mins. fine then stop sign sluggish, barely made across then suddenly a slow burst of energy, filled up to reassure full tank, drove a block well then at stop sign
no burst, then slowly responded, drove close to N-hood,then stalled at stop sign, pushed home, would not start, ran down battery slightly, went out later 1hr ran ok able to back into drive,Trying to read some info to help my issue, any clue to problem, also forabout 3-4 monthsthe transmission(supposedly) is sluggish,we put into 2-3 to take off works to take-off then we put back into Drive, Ithought it was the 1st gear going bad, trying to limp along
$$$$$$, 7yrs.ago we blew up engine 99,950 miles, installed rebuild,Now 196,000 having sluggish take-off and now this Please help with a solution. I have had this car since 2000
Dad had prev.3 yrs.well taken care of, HHHHEEEEELLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

Check for vacuum leaks. Also try taking a spray bottle of water and misting the plugs, wires, and coils, then turn off the lights and watch in the dark for any blue flashing. If you see that you need to deal with that. Also test the coils and TPS, both of these are covered in the tech info area.

When I first noticed a slight miss in exhaust last week, I thought it maybe a plug , Changed plugs , still hearing a litte miss from exhaust,I usually work till 5-6, I came homeMonday and Y-day,ran it for about10-12 mins ran fine, then tried to rev-up, noticed it was mellowing out ( geting warm) during rev-up hearing miss and puff of air or what ever you call it in motor, so it gently stalled, No hard problems just stopped, I do not think its fuel pump DO YOU? something with heating up, from other sernarios that I have read in threads. Thanks for you help, I Do not have alot of money to replace things that isn't the problem and possible parts that Advanced will not take back!

Pull the coils and check for corrosion. How did the plugs look? Did they all look the same?
I agree with Bill, pull your O2 sensor and start the engine. You will get a SES light and it will run rich. But if the cat is clogged it whould run better because the gasses can get out threw the O2 bung.
