Default Rpms lower than usual

After installing my spark plugs, my rpms seems to have dropped at idle. They are at slightly less than 1K. Is this normal. BTW my engine threw a code, ses light came on. It seems to have gone off again though.

I think this may possibly be a battery related problem. Mostly this started since installing my intake though.

Idling a bit under 1000rpms is normal. When you installed the intake, did you remove the MAF screen? I'd say if so, then opening up the intake as well as removing the MAF screen (letting the engine breathe essentially) may have caused the idle to be a bit calmer maybe. But it doesn't sound like something to worry about.

I'm not sure what code you're getting though.

I am relatively sure this is the battery, its never been replaced, and my positive terminal is not well seated. There goes some more cash.

If you throw a code again let us know what it is. :? But as far as your idle rpms are concerned, nothing to worry about
