It did idle like a dream when I dropped the car off, if you took the rice pipe off the TB. Before I brought it down to him.....something like that would never matter. It may haven't something to do with the car sitting for 2 mos or so before I brought it down to him.

Either way, that car IS my old 95.....SSEi....... That car has had a shitty idle for the last 5 yrs of it's life.....It was doing that for the 2 yrs my friend I got the car from owned it.

The filter on the car is a K&N.....and I cleaned and oil'd it before heading to AL. with it. So unless he drove it through a wall of dirt for the last 5 mos.....that filter should fine.

IAC doesn't do shit with the idle......BILL YOU AND I HAVE BEEN THROUGH THIS I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES BEFORE.

Remember this vid Bill?

I made it for Ed Morad becuse he loved it so much...and had no idea what was wrong with it either.....INTESNE's Todd, Scott, and Tim have all looked at it twice and have no answer....

Adam....I'd have just left the towel on the air filter lol....

Eh....I'm pretty sure I told you when I dropped off the car...but who knows...I was on 2 hrs sleep then....and had gone 700 some miles on that two hrs lol.

Nate, I think you and I had at least half a dozen phone calls on this one.

And I can gaurantee you the intake isn't the solution to the problem, and couldn't have made any difference. It's pure coincidence.

If the problem returns, get a replacement throttle body with all sensors. There may be an issue with the casting around the IAC seat and passage.

That is a replacement TB on there now. It came off of Gordy's 95 which was known to NOT have any idle issues. Sure it's coincidence, and why it don'es like running with the air filter on is beyond me, could be something else now, but I doubt it'll fix the idle...

And ya I remember the phone calls, those were the fun days lol.
