Default Rough idle after upper rebuild. If one could call it so!

Hello guys, im back! lol Ok heres the deal, this is about the 1992 SSEi we have. So long story short, the engine popped a H-Gasket, i took it apart now that all is back, that is: New FellPro gasket kit, (full set) and obviously new Oil pan gasket as well. So now that i start, it first of: have problem starting by itself. U have to push up a bit of gas for it to pick up, once its up itll run on its own at about 1200rpm untill it gets down to 700 or so withing a min or so. However theres more to it. When at idle, if u were to gas it up slightly above 1000, the engine seam to pick it up on it and continue running at whatever RPM that is, 1000+1500 so far at most. Makes it course a pain in *** to shift gear while parked and not to mention the fact that it shouldnt be doing this anyways. So heres the question: Does anyone know whats the problem, or atleast have any suggestions? High Idle and Hard to start :(
PS: besided the FellPro gasket car has been put back up just way it was, other then CamPosSensors wires which i had to prolong a bit. due to that its wires were damaged by age.
Thank you ahead for replies.

Check for vacuum leaks. May also want to check the throttle position sensor.

it stalled on me once on a stop sign. started it up w/gassing up and drove home. I noticed once it stalled sec after check engine light came up, but it didnt stay on. Can i check the codes on this 92 by jumping code reading plug in? btw when u accelerate if u want it to go fast somewhat push the gas further in, it gives off a felling of chocking, meaning it dont respond right away, and does it once again somewhere in mid of speeding up.
