Default Replacement cat part#

What is the replacement cat for a '98 SSEi? Is this Magnaflow 94000 Standard Oval series the one?

Thanks. My cat is really sluggish, and needs to be put down.

Did you look at the direct, and universal fit options?

Here'* what I found for your 98...
Direct fit...
http://www.fulllineexhaust.com/catal...fit/df_186.htm

And universal...

Don't forget to shave your cat, they need hair down in the Gulf.

I think It was one of the universal "ovals", the "standard" one that I linked, the "small" one that you linked, or this "short" one.

Amazing. In 6 years, I never even knew (duh) there was a "direct fit", or heard anybody use it. (That doesn't mean nobody has, just that I didn't come across it). Maybe because it'* not a High-flow for mods, if made to OEM specs?

I swear there was a consensus for one of the universal "ovals". I've been searching both sites. Every time I get close, it'* a dead link or the photo has been taken down.

Thanks for the response Mike, I'm going to try to fumble my way further on this. My car'* MAP pressure runs a little high at idle, and my O2 sensor reading in the front isn't swapping crisply and the rear one is reading unsteady. So that cat might be gunked and pushing back a bit. I'm starting mods with a FWI tomorrow, so I want to start opening up the back end a bit, anyway.

That Gulf thing is a mess. I wonder how fish or shrimp are going to taste.

"Today our dinner special is Red Snapper ala 30W. And would you care for a Power Steering Fluid Margarita? It goes so well with the fish."

I have it. The opinion was the L67 should go with the 94000 series. The L36 can use the 94000 series or the 94100 series may be even better suited.
