I want to check the pulleys on the '96 and have a rookie question. In the FSM, to get the belt off it says to "push down" on the tensioner pulley bolt with a 15mm wrench. That would mean a clockwise rotation of the bolt if I "push down" from the front of the engine. Am I understanding that right? Isn't that bolt threaded lefthanded?

It is an interesting affair, isn't it?. The "push down" would occur with the wrench on the bolthead, wrench facing toward the firewall. (silly GM engineers
).
