Those two part number cross to the front/rear Monroe "QuickStrut" which is an OEM replacment strut designed to install easier. These are NOT Reflex struts:

QuickStrut:
The revolutionary Monroe Quick Strut unit is the first complete, ready-to-install replacement strut assembly available! Monroe Quick Strut units include all the components required for strut replacement in a single, fully-assembled unit. They feature pre-assembled replacement bearing plate, upper and lower spring isolators, upper spring seat, coil spring, boot kit, and a premium Monroe Sensa-Trac® strut. This breakthrough design saves on installation time by eliminating having to disassemble components and compress the coil spring prior to installation. Each Quick Strut assembly features application-engineered valving to optimize each vehicle'* unique ride and handling characteristics.
Reflex:
The Monroe Reflex® struts with the patented Impact Sensor™ Technology combines specially tuned valving and a Fluon banded piston.

The Impact Sensor™ valve has the ability to sense acceleration to improve the handling, safety, and overall ride characteristics of most vehicles. The Impact Sensor™ base valve will sense a bump in the road and automatically adjust the shock to absorb the impact, leaving the shock with greater control when it is needed.

The features of the Monroe Reflex struts make it the superior choice for improved handling, safety, and comfort in all road conditions.
However, if you look at this page:
http://www.monroe.com/catalog_lookup...=1993&LST=2016

You'll see an empty spot just below Sensatrac and QuickStrut with a legend of
f:0Q1
to the left and right (both front and rear). This means:
f:0Q1 New Part Number Available First Quarter
So the reflex may return. Reflex are still available for light duty trucks and SUV'* from what I understand. They just aren't for some (if not all) passenger cars.

When they told you the part number had been changed, but it was still the same thing, what they're telling you is that since the Reflex isn't available, that'* what they recommend for your application. Same thing Advanced Auto and NAPA have been telling people for years, simply because they didn't normally stock the Reflex.

And Monroe doesn't list the 931798 and 931822.

What'* the story here? The last set you shipped didn't come with the information for the rebate, and one of the boxes was damaged and some hardware missing. Where are these things coming from?

Is this old stock? Can NAPA still order these from Monroe?

Well here'* an up date. Got my new shocks/struts on and noticed the originals both have the air fitting turned the same way. I will have to say it has a much more sporty ride than before, close to a camaro ride, and the handling is much inproved. These are diffinently the best shocks/struts in my opinion. Monroe needs to bring them back. Thanks for all the help.

Default Same or differant

Is the reflex p/n 931799 and 931798 the same? If not what is the differance? Local dealer has 931799 and no it'* not NAPA.
