I hate to disagree....but the accessory position is with the key rotated all the way towards the driver...the radio works in this position.....also the wipers and windows....and most likely the cigarette lighter! LOL.....

Don't matter to me My ELC is always active. Ignition position doesn't matter.

I've only observed my ELC kick in twice with the key out of the ignition. If I turn the key forward to "ON" it will run for several seconds after about 10 seconds every time.

Um.... maybe I got too many people confused.... that'* what I mean't by aux....

anywho..... I checked the car today after 3 drives, of aprox 30mins each.... besides the sagging after the first drive of the day... she'* held up her rear end thus far.

I'll check after tomorrow mornings run...... I take the same route every day.... so we'll see what happens.
