It'* been discussed here before, and from what I remember, it wouldn't be easy. Nobody makes a kit (that I know of) and a lot of parts would need to be swapped/customized.

But, remembering this post when I was on a break, a guy that works here has a newer Impala. The car is basically the same size as ours, uses the exact same size 16 inch tires, so my assumption based on looking from the outside was that if you could find on in a junkyard, had access to the right tools, it may just be possible to grab a rear axle from one of them and swap it out...

Search the archives....tons of posts on it. I read them and decided not to bother with a swap.

Will the rear brakes from a 2000+ Bonne work or maby even a GP?????
If so where can I get the right proportioning valve?

00+ Bonnie is a different body all together.. best bet again.. is to ask Ty from DP
