Does anyone know if a rear disc conversion is possible with a 95 SSEi or any 92-99 for that matter??? If so please post which parts are necissary for this swap, in my opinion the rear drums on these cars are one of there biggest drawbacks. Ive wished for 4 whl disc ever since I bout the Bon Evil. Heck even my friggin 91 Lumina has 4 wd.

Yeah, I wish ALL my cars had rear disc brakes. But what is the big drawback? Is it the fact that disc brakes LOOK better? OK, I'll agree. Do they perform better? On the rear, not much difference. Are they easier to service? Definitely. But I'm not about to spend a lot money and time replacing drum brakes(if it was possible) so I can save a few minutes replacing the pads on disc brakes! So, that'* my opimion. What'* yours???

My Lumina brakes noticably smoother than my Bonne 4wd vs rear drums.
And so did my Regal, but I do care about the looks or else I wouldnt have painted my front calipers LOL. I just like rear discs (they fade less under hard braking)

I find that my car has exceptional braking at 80mph or less, higher I'm sure rear disk would be better. I do believe that with this set up and the aluminum drums, that they may be almost at light as disks.
lol... oh my gosh.. someone said somthing about easier matiance? HA!... I did mine on my 87 toronado, and broke down and payed a shop to do my 92... There more of pain then drums..
