Your car takes 4.5 quarts of 10w-30 oil.

The type of oil should be written on the oil cap.

A replacement mirror is about $75 from Gm Parts direct. It'* hard to replace. Have a box of band-aids on hard if you do it yourself. Lots of sharp stuff in there.

Ahhh Bob...I've got the mirrors down with good instructions. Only tool I'd say to buy is a flex head ratchting wrench. No blood if you get one of those.

On the oil. If you do not being taking care of changing your oil and making sure it does not get low you will be walking very soon and during that walk you will be able to ponder the cost of a new motor. Please take this as constructive advice, running low on oil and over on oil changes can easily lead to blown motor. Most of us can find a $20 for an oil change easier than $1000-$2000 for another motor to be installed.

As stated, the gauge will tell you nothing about the quantity of oil in your car, it only tells the pressure, and if you are idling rough, that pressure will fluctuate as well. The only way to know whats in the pan is with the dipstick. Unless you are hellaciously low, it will not cause a rough idle. By the time low oil is causing a bad idle, you have pretty much done your motor in.
