hi, I have 1993 bonneville with electrical seats. The seats quite working and the relay that was in the fuse box was so hot you couldn't tuch it. I unplugged it and tried to plug it back in again and sparks flew everywere. I know there is a dead short somewere. I looked at the groundbox under the strip by drivers door. can you tell me how you would be able to tell if the ground is not grounded? there is a whole rusted out right were the ground box is. do you think water has corroded this and how can i tell if this is the problem? :o

well you have a 1993 SE<---- that is your trim level

now get that into your sig

if your ground was bad at the fuse box you would loose more than just the power seats..........goes to look at the FSM

If that relay'* getting so hot that you can't hardly touch it, then I would think that you got a pinched wire somewhere shorting out. But electrical isn't my strong point. But that'* what I'd start looking for.
