Default Radiator cap has jelled coolant on it. Problem?
Hello,

I changed the radiator cap cause it was leaking and I found that the cap had coolant that looks like its turned into jello.
Is this a problem?

It means that your coolant is separated and that your cooling system probably needs to be flushed. Does your car get above the 200* mark when in stop and go traffic?

Yes the car goes above 200 when I'm stopped. It never reaches the "red" but it seems to be going higher than months ago.

Whats the best procedure to flush the coolant and get all the "jello" out?

Look in the techinfo or search for it. You'll find it I'm sure.
