quick code check
i have a 93 bonneville se and everytime i accelerate hard (past 4k rpm) the Service Engine Soon Light comes on but after maybe 5 seconds it'll go off.
Is the service engine soon light the same as a check engine light? Cuz my last car there was both.
and i dont have any days off soon, so no time to get it checked at the auto parts store, but anyone have any idea what it is?

We can't know what is it until you pull the code. Please use the Techinfo (upper left of screen) and follow the instructions on how to pull your own codes. It'* nice and easy on your year with a paperclip.
