Default light

the only time my 96 threw a code was when I had some bad gas. Happened just after a fill up. Put in some gas dryer , the light went out and performed flawlessly since. If it was a single instance and hasn't happend again I wouldn't worry about it.

Ok. TCC is working fine....at least in practicallity. It works when I'm driving and acts properly. Hoping to rule it out.

Evap purge soloniod doesn't click like Lakeville tells he his does. Anyone else able to confirm or deny it clicks or you can feel it clicking?

Chris...did you READ?

Because I told you on AIM that the clicking is only AUDIBLE during COLD WEATHER.

Sub 35* probably.

Should be able to feel it by touching it though.

Nothin against you buddy...but I don't trust your car...lol Wanted to get another opinion to verify that maybe your car was working right.

And we may just have a winner on the soloniod.!!! Of course gmpartsd doesn't seem to list only the purge sol for my 95. Anyone got a pn on it?

Ummm.....I don't think the solenoid is removable....I think you have to buy the whole canister and solenoid in one piece....Which really isn't a bad idea.

Hahahaha what a SURPRISE...Bill driving his car like a maniac!

Go get that solenoid and see if it fixes it. Otherwise, ignore the check engine light. Do you think the car is worth putting a new tranny in? Hmmmm
