Bingo. I was still pretty frustrated when I wrote the original topic.

But, for anyone on a budget, I highly recomment Discount Tire Company (www.discounttire.com or www.americastire.com). Very fast, friendly service. Walked in with a quote from the site. Walked out less than an hour later with new, siped, tires, with a Free Replacement certificate, and really clean wheels. They removed all the road and brake dust from the wheels, and put asll the balancing weights on the inside, just because they figured I'd want it that way...

Never heard of them doing it without asking!!!!!!!!! Definately a place to do business with again.
