So the general concensus is that it is normal for a small amount of cold air to blow out on the floor when the A/C is running?

Mine blows just enough that it chills my right foot after about 15 minutes of driving. This has been my only disappointment with this car which I have now had for about a month.

I was about ready to tear into it until I read the comments here. By the way, the floor vent does shut off completely in the defrost position, so I know it is mechanically capable of shutting off.

I think I even remember reading about this "feature" in my owner'* manual. Supposed to improve airflow throughout the cabin...
