Default Power Steering PUMP

Ok. i have this weird problem. When i am turning left (only left) and i accelerate the power steering pump whines like a ****. It sounds like a little european car accelerating in reverse (now you know what im taking about). Sometimes it sounds really nasty and grindy and sometimes its just fine. But when i turn right, that doesnt happen.. Any ideas?

Check the fluid. It should be close to the color of the Tranny fluid(reddish color). Also make sure that the power steering fluid is full. I finally got mine replaced after taking it to the dealer 3 times for it. Mine was making the same noise. First 2 times they replaced the rack & then finally they replaced the pump. No more noise.

I get a similar noise when I park, and turn the wheel hard to lock the wheels at an angle. I get the whiny noise both ways on a hard turn. I get the 'grindy' noise too but that'* just my bad wheel bearings.
