Default Power Steering/Magnasteer Questions (HELP!!!)

Do all Bonnevilles (even those without magnasteer) have an electrical connector where the pressure line connects to the pump? I'm right in the middle of replacing mine and I'm totally lost. I DON'T have the RPO for variable effort steering either (NV.

Digital In looking at the FSM for 95 (pretty much the same) there are two pumps. A TFE and non TFE. Only the TFE pump has the electrical connector according to the book. It specifically states that you only replace them with the same type of pump.

Under removal is says step 3. On TFE pump, electrical connector (to disconnect). no mention is made to taking off an electrical connector on a non-TFE pump.

Hope that helps.

Personally I've become best buddies with the guys at a nearby junkyard. If none of the local parts places have it then I'd either do dealer or junkyard. Unless you can wait and then order from GMPartsdirect.com
