Power Steering Fluid
Hey there! My power steering fluid in Gorbachev has been leaking for the past couple of weeks. I got it checked out and the mechanic (who I trust) said that 2 of the PS hoses are cracked. He gave me a $200 estimate to install new ones. I didn't have the money at the time and so he simply filled it back up with PS fluid because it had been completely dry (hence all the horrible noises I was hearing.) Since then, it has started making that same noise again and I bought some PS fluid to put in, but the problem is..... I have no clue where to put in the PS fluid. Where'* the tank? I can't find it anywhere in the car.
A couple of friends said that it'* clearly visible in their car, but they couldn't find it in my car. I need to get the fluid in soon or I won't be able to drive it without being fearful of the PS going out. lol. I know it sounds like an amateur question, but where do I put the PS fluid in my 96 SE?

hose
check you hose crimp ends. If its leaking there sometimes you can add a hose clamp right next to it and stop the leak. The inner tube extends about 1/2" into the rubber hose.

i discovered a trick this weekend when my power steering failed (turned out my pressure hose was loose and i tightened it with a wrench and it was all better).
but i found if you go to the right of the pump (while facing the engine, standing in front of the bumper), right behind the back valve cover, you can pour the fluid right into the reservoir without a funnel. it'* tricky, but its good in an emergency.
but a funnel does help if you have a shaky hand like me......
