How did they connect the remote res to the rest..a hose partway down the body?

it had a hose that runs along the back valve cover down to the Pump.

I guess it is all a matter of which is more stupid. I liked seeing the alternator on top. On my V6 Contour, changing the alternator was a 5.5 -6 hour job!
Maybe GM borrowed the engineer from Ford of Europe?

i got my funnel today at the dollar store! i think i will pick up another pump at the parts yard and experiment with it....
