My ventilation was not blowing hard at all, really hadn't since I got the car. Someone on here alerted me to that, so I emptied a 16oz can of brake cleaner into the evap core, hosed it out, *GENTLY* and it worked well from then on.
HOWEVER,
Be sure to not get too much water in there, and wait for it to dry out before testing it. Too much water will overflow into the cab. Not sure if it'* related, but my blower fan siezed on me about 5-6 months after cleaning the evap core.
All in all, it'* a very worthwhile fix.
