I've cleaned a TB in 30 minutes, including the time it takes to put it back on. It'* really not that hard and not at all time consuming. IMO, while you're doing that, change your LIM gasket. It'* a bit more difficult, but it sure will save you pain down the road..

Change out the plugs and wires just now. actually, this seems to have corrected the problem! Can't say for sure, i only drove it around the block. trips to and from work will tell the tale. I have too much homework and dinner to make to do a lengthy test run.
I noticed that on my old plus when i took them out they where burnt on an angle... odd. almost for sure an effect of the shortening of the neg electrode. i wouldn't recamend it.

Hmm did some reading that i probably should have done first and ended up with platinim plugs... i went to get the tr55 plug and they didn't have any others but the tr55 gp. So, i put them in... seems to run fine now but if what i read is correct that'll only last a short while and it'll be back to crap. Is there any harm in just going until i notice a lack of performance / poor running engine? I'd like to make it to my next check at least...
