PO403 EGR Solenoid control circuit?

PO403 EGR Solenoid control circuit?
OK, got this code yesterday when I scanned, and turned it off. Came back this afternoon.
I pulled the EGR valve and wirebrushed some carbon off the pintle nose and the flange, looked down into the two holes, and don't see any obstruction or excess carbon buildup. I reinstalled the connector using dielectric grease (it was dry), erased the code, and now the light'* still out after an hour drive.
Anything else to do? I checked the archives and it seems to me (there'* not much) that this code is complaining about the circuit, not the EGR valve itself.
Anything else to do, or do I just wait and see if the CEL lights up again?

I think possibly the EGR Valve its self..
