Anyone know of an easily found plastic composite type of goop like KittyHair? I've got a nasty crack on the left side of my dashboard (unfortunately its the main unit, not the facia) and I just want to stop the crack from getting any bigger.

If it is plastic, find someone that can apply Duramix. It is a two part mixture that usually requires a special gun to apply. The last time I looked into this to repair my urethane rear bumper cover, the materials were reasonable but the gun was about $150. I can't think of a better repair solution though. This stuff can even be used as a structural repair if done properly.

I use their plas-t-pair kit (liquid, powder) to make and repair plastic parts.

the liquid part will take care of most plastic repairs, but the powder can actually fill in and build up were the original is lacking in strength or you are missing a piece.
