Placing rear whell bearing
REPLACING REAR WHEEL BEARING
At 150xxx miles, lately i've been hearing a waa waa waa noise as I drive. I had this happen b4 on another bonneville a'92 and it was the front. Now it is coming from the driver rearon my '97 . Is it difficult to replace the bearing or should I just get the whole new hub assembly and replace it as a whole. Cost\value would be the deciding factor.

And expensive if done at the stealership 
I personally have not done one (along with a lot of things on my car), but even though you have ot buy the whole assembly, you are still going to save a boat (pun intended) load of money.

On your car, is the wa-wa-wa noise only noticeble at certain speeds, such as from 25-45 mph or so? That'* what mine is doing, and it sounds like the noise on my car is coming from the rear driver'* side. Please let us know if replacing the hub eliminates the noise.

Does this sound like a loan moan pulsating noise, comming from the rear? Its not a constant noise, just a humming pulsating noise.
The noise was apparent at speeds about 80 KPH, and higher. Seems like this is a normal problem for these cars. I replaced my bearing, and noise was gone. Onto the next noise, and that was last year. You all have NO idea what I went through last year to find multiple noises in the suspension. One wheel had the balljoint (pressed) tie rod, and the wheel bearing, gone at once. Made quite a bit of noise. When all was done, and aligned, new tires, the ride was so much smoother and quieter.
Anyways, sorry about hi-jacking the post.
