well today while drving my trim above my windshield came up and i know that when the replace the windshield they have to replace that trim peice well i need a windshild anyways due to a growing crack. since its sunday i cant call for a price so what did u guys pay for a windshield?

List price for the windsheild is in the $250 range.

My dad had his changed in his 92 SSEI. HUD but no radio antena in it.
Cost was something like 450 CAD if paid out right for it. This included the trim piece also.

mine was brand new to my car when i got it...the dealer had a chinese brand one installed (HUD) for $250. i talked to a guy at star windshield repair because the dealer had installed it wrong, and it needs to be redone. the original brand gm windshield is supposed to display the HUD better, but it costs $1000

I'd check with salvage yards. Salvage yards have access to new parts too, just not the OE, but meet the OE standards. I bought a new one with HUD for my old 1993 SSE for $125. It was another $60 for the install including the trim.

check www.car-part.com as there'* bound to be a slavage yard near you that can get a new one for under $150. You'll just have to have it installed.

i wish my insureance covered it but i plpd. ill look in to the junkyard idea.

I too have to repalce my windshield...But I'm going to a Pick-and-Pull and then have someone or maybe I will install it.
