DeathRat, Saw you above post about the part numbers. I stopped my the dealer where I got the car and the sending unit was replaced. I got a copy of the work order from the service dept. The check oil level light still comes on at intervals. Oil level is full. So in troubleshooting do you think it might be the module under the glove box that might be the culprit? The part # you gave-w/light 25535479 would that be for the module? Still waiting for my owner'* manual. Thanks.

Thanx, you beat me to it!

There is an Oil Level Sensor too in the Oil Pan....Oil Level Sensor P/N: 25609555 This is my guess.

DeathRat, Thanks for supplying the additional part# about the one inside the oil pan. Wll try some additional troubleshooting. Am going to look this morning for the module under the glove box.

Would that part number be the same for a non-supercharged 3800 sending unit (with gauge) for my '98 SE?
