Default PArt # for Belt Tensioner from GM

K.. nobody seems to have the right belt tensioner.. so I thought I would ask you guys.. it'* the middle belt tensioner.. the one right behind the first pulley if you look from the front of the car to the back.

The closest one they had at crappy tire was a metal one.. but the edges were round and weren't the same size pulley.. Then they gave me the front ones.. with the ribs which is the first pulley..

If the tensioner you are talking about is for the charger, the GM part number is 24501383 you can get it at GMPARTSDIRECT.com $44.11 + $8.82 */H I ordered one about a month ago cause my belt was chirping, that took care of the problem, but now it is chirping again, I think I got a bum tensioner cause I can watch the tensioner move while the car is running and then it starts to chirp, I am trying to see if I can exchange it.

hope this helps.

yea.. it'* for the */C.. it'* this one

Unfortunetly GMpartsdirect won't deliver to up here .. so I'm going to price it out @ GM here.. unless Ken knows if NAPA has a tensioner like that.

They only have the one on the right of it.. and they keep handing me a metal one.. but on one of the side.. it rounds... so I don't need the belt slideing off and it was a bigger pulley then stock. I can't afford a smaller pulley so I can't get a bigger pulley for the tensioner.. so stock it must be

K.. called around.. and this is wat I"ve found so far.. one place quoted me $111 for it.. another place couldn't find that part # but looked it up and quoted me $22.. I think thats the wrong one though.. so I will have to bring my car down and see.. I will ask the outlaws to call GM and ask how much they charge cause he gets I think 20% off GM parts from GM cause of his company.. :?
