Default P0300 DTC Help!!!

digging into my hesitation problem I am getting a P0300 "random misfire" code I have changed the plugs and today will be changing the wires but I have gotten so many mixed ideas as to what sets this code I am info overloaded like the people in those Bing comercials anybody had experience with this

P0300 is the Random Multiple Misfire code.

Typically caused by ignition related items. Meaning plugs or wires.
Coils won't be random, but are worth taking a look at to ensure they aren't arching.
ICM shouldn't do it either.

Whenever I see it..I check wires, coils and plugs.
