Just a rough idle could be vacuum or tune up related. When was the last time you changed out the plugs and wires?

1630 is not a QDM fault...

Its system voltage high or low...

This will set when the PCM sees voltage above 17v or below 9v for more than 10 seconds while the engine is running

Book says when this code sets the trans will be forced to 3rd gear, TCC will not be allowed to engage... All to avoid erratic shifting due to inproper voltages..

Looks like you could have voltage problems, bad wire or bad PCM..

And didn't you have problems with this car the last time you owned it... And what was the correction?

QDM codes will be 1640,1650 and 1670

I have the same shitty idle myself. Had it since I got the car.

I've replaced the coils, plugs, wires, TB, Cleaned the TB, O2 sensor, FPR, and some miscelanious other things to no avail. So hopefully you can get the idle taken care of so I can get mine taken care of too!

Won't a worn harmonic balancer cause a real bad shake at idle? Just throwing out ideas there...
