Looks like techinfo'* number was for the other O2 sensor. This one here is AS Delco # AFS-97, GM # 25312196.

I was going to change my O2 Sensor yesterday, I was taking the harness apart and the ends weren't right. There is a male end on the new O2 sensor and the old sensor has a female end. I used the Part Number in the tech info section. If you do find the correct Part#, I'd like to know, my gas mileage sucks lately.
I have a 1997 SE and my VIN# is 1G2HX52K1VH233733
edit: where is the part GM#25312196 supposed to go?

So the "wrong" sensor that I have can still be used? Would it be a good idea to replace the rear sensor since I have it anyways?

OK I've had this discussion before w/ Deathrat (I think) but I'm going to rehash it....
I'm 'bout to order O2 sensor(*) for my 2000 SE today and want to double check with people who know....I've got two listed: POS 1 (p/n 25312203) and POS 3 (p/n 25312207). So, for argument'* sake, should I replace one or both of the O2 sensors, and which one would be the likely candidate if I were to replace only one of them?
Sorry if this seems like a loopy question but I'm at work and totally fried....

I know this is not my topic, but by reading it, I have to change my O2 sensor/*, does anybody by any chance have a pic. on to where these sensors are exactly. I don't have a book, and I need one.

Thanx...
