Default OK, what'* going on with my EFI pump?

Either someone has surreptitiously installed a Holley Blue fuel pump in my '99 K-engine Bonneville, or the factory EFI pump is making noticeable noise when it didn't before.

Getting ready to fail? How hard to change? No codes.

I guess the best answer to "how loud is it?" is that I never noticed it before but now I do.

Car runs very well and just passed smog, so it must be functioning OK now. But when mechanical things begin to make noise, I worry. :?
