Ok... So I've been internetless for the better part of a year now (it sucks)..

Heres the deal. I bought a 92 Buick Park Avenue... (L27), 120k on it...

It runs MINT, unless its hot out. Then under acceleration the engine cuts in and out like its losing spark. I checked fuel pressure, it was right where it should be... So the only other thing I can think of is the ICM...

Am i on the right track ? Anything else i Should look for? It'* getting worse, and I need to figure this out before I get stranded somewhere lol..

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks Guys

No, Its the Delco Ignition..... It completely cuts out if you accelerate, but if you let off the gas, It comes right back.

ALSO, I forgot to mention , when it starts doing this, If i turn the ignition off and start it back up, It'* fine for a while again...

I was about to mention this. DrCheeto you really want to look at your Fuel pressure, because what you're describing almost sounds like what was happening to me on my 94 SE (L27) when the pump went kaput.

Ditto. Check fuel pressure while moving and warmed up. Run a long hose on the gauge to the driver seat and try to recreate the cut-out.

Yea, but if it was a fuel pump failing, I dont think cycling ignition would cure it.... Maybe I should check again though.
