Default oil cap

ok so i put oil in my car and well the extention dident fit all the way back on (i pulled it off instead of just the oil cap. um its a little loose is this a problem?

you dont need to use the extension if you dont want to...

Did you leave the engine cover on? Did you give the extension a twist? I can't remember if there is an O-ring on the extension or not...if there was did it make it back on?
