So far I replaced it with rubber. The transmission is acting kind of weird now. It feels like its not starting in first gear, and doesn't shift when it should. I hope its just a matter of adding more fluid. It seems to be ok once the car warms up. I havent had the chance to drive it much since yesterday.

Check your fluid before you drive again.
It normally goes without saying that you check trans fluid with the car idling in park, but sometimes we like to play it safe.
I lost half my trans fluid capacity in under 30 seconds when mine went.

I drove the car again last night and it was fine. Gears changed when they should and everything. This morning it was about 8 o clock and I went to drive. Reversing out of my driveway was fine but it was a tight squeeze and I had to pull a little bit forward. The car would rev but it would barely go anywhere. In reverse, the same thing. Its very cold today (20 degrees) so I guess im just gonna let it warm up and check the fluid again. The check engine light even came on but very briefly.

Check your codes. Procedure in Techinfo.
I suspect the code will point to a TCC problem. You're slipping. Probably because you got a lot of friction material worn off as the fluid level went down. All those particles are suspended in the fluid now.
A flush MIGHT save you.

Well i sprung another leak today. Hopped in the car to drive back to Springfield for Christmas and the transmission was acting weird then the car stalled and wouldn't restart for a few minutes. Drove it back up the street to my apartment and i noticed it was leaking trans fluid from another spot in the line. I didnt have a hacksaw but I was able to cut out the leaky section with a rotary tool and about 8 cutoff wheels. I got covered in trans fluid and it was spraying me right in the face because it was leaking while i was using the cutoff wheel.
I used some of the leftover hose I had from the first time and I was able to make it back home. How much would it cost to replace all of the metal lines going to and from the radiator to the trans. I feel like I could put them in myself, I just need the actual metal tubing.
