Power steering went out cause you stalled and the check gauges light came on because the PCM said "Hmm thats interesting low oil pressure, no rpms, thats a problem... better set the idiot light"

So the light should have corisponded to the car shutting off. May want to have it scanned for codes int he history anyway?

My 93 did the same thing. It only would happen going around 1 perticular clover leaf.
